CHILDERS Mag­is­trates Court was in ses­sion on Fri­day, July 17. The fol­low­ing peo­ple pleaded guilty and were fined:

David Sin­gle, who pleaded guilty to low-range drink driv­ing af­ter blow­ing 0.06%, and was fined $400 and dis­qual­i­fied from driv­ing for one month.

Jack­son Lo­vis Sauer, a learner driver, who pleaded guilty to three charges and was or­dered to pay fines to­talling $1500 and dis­qual­i­fied from driv­ing for six months.

Kim­ber­ley Jayne Or­chard, who pleaded guilty, and was con­victed and fined $500 and had her driver’s li­cence dis­qual­i­fied for three months. Other mat­ters were ad­journed to Septem­ber 18. Also, charges against Christal Ann Locke were ad­journed to Bund­aberg Mag­is­trates Court for a hear­ing on Septem­ber 14. War­rants have been is­sued by the court for the ar­rest of de­fen­dants who failed to ap­pear. The Childers Mag­is­trates Court will next sit on Fri­day, Au­gust 14.
