Happy Childers Festival!

Isis Town and Country - - Opinion - Jodie Dixon Reporter Jodie.dixon@isistcnews.com.au

IT’S only one day before Childers sets the stage for the best festival in Queensland.

This year I will be roaming around capturing the festival.

As the local reporter for Childers, I will be out and about enjoying the sights and sounds and I hope, Childers, that you will too.

There are so many fantastic acts preforming this year. Where do we start? Firstly, comfortable shoes are a must. Fingers crossed Childers puts on the great winter weather that we had last year.

For me, I enjoy my food and I am looking forward to all the exciting food stands at this year’s festival.

This year the festival has some new and exciting events, such as the Isis Central Sugar Mill & Cane Fire Tour on Friday starting at 4pm.

Friday at 7pm Pilotlight Productions will perform “Working Light”.

Remember that Churchill St will be closed, and it’s a dog-free event.

Tell me your favourite thing or things at this year’s festival and you might just see it in next week’s paper.

I look forward to capturing every moment.

Happy Childers Festival!
