US ti­tles a fam­ily af­fair

THE Enslin Fam­ily – Dar­ren, Gil­lian and Dean – are rep­re­sent­ing Aus­tralia in the 2015 tar­get ri­fle team.

The Ap­ple Tree Creek fam­ily have flown to Camp Perry in Ohio, USA, to com­pete.

The com­pe­ti­tion, which started on Mon­day, will run un­til Au­gust 17.

The teams will com­pete in the 2015 US Full-Bore Tar­get Ri­fle and the World Long Range Tar­get Ri­fle Cham­pi­onships in both the in­di­vid­ual and the team matches.

The team match, for the cov­eted Palma Tro­phy, the ul­ti­mate prize in full-bore tar­get ri­fle team shoot­ing, is held ev­ery four years.

Teams com­pet­ing for this tro­phy in­clude the USA, Great Bri­tain, Canada, Aus­tralia, New Zealand, Ger­many, the Chan­nel Is­lands and South Africa.

Good luck to the Enslin fam­ily, do­ing Childers proud.
