Police presence matters

Isis Town and Country - - Opinion -

I DID a return trip to Brisbane from Gin Gin on the 20th, and the roads were crawling with police. The UHF was alive with reports of where they were. But for once, other than a couple of tailgaters, we didn’t see one of the usual idiots on the road. Normally one would have seen multiple instances of stupidity on a trip of that distance, especially when towing a car carrier at reduced speed. It just goes to show increased police presence, not revenue-raising speed cameras, is the answer to road safety. Malcom, Gin Gin
