Fun way to get to Point

THE an­nual Park to Point Woodgate Beach Fun Run will be on Sun­day, Septem­ber 6.

The Isis Dis­trict State High School has been busy plan­ning for its ma­jor fundraiser and it prom­ises to be the most fun you can have on a fun run.

The event will start at 8am.

Par­tic­i­pants can choose to run or walk along the beau­ti­ful beach. The dis­tances range from 2km to 5km and 10km, for all ages and fit­ness lev­els.

The beach will be closed to ve­hi­cles for the du­ra­tion of the event.

En­try is open to boys and girls, pri­mary and sec­ondary school age, as well as adults.

Chil­dren un­der school age are welcome to walk and must be ac­com­pa­nied by an adult at all times.

Prizes will be awarded in each group.

The win­ners names will be drawn out of a hat. Ev­ery com­peti­tor will be in the run­ning for a prize.

Reg­is­tra­tion forms are online at try­book­ You can register online or from 7.15am on the day.

To en­cour­age par­tic­i­pa­tion, there is a re­ward for the largest team, so get your work­mates, team­mates, friends and fam­ily to­gether for a great morn­ing out.

Last year, this was won by the Cordalba Clod­hop­pers and they have al­ready reg­is­tered a team for this year.
