International Day in Gin Gin
QCWA medieval feast
TO CELEBRATE International Day the Gin Gin QCWA are inviting the region to a medieval feast.
The day event will be celebrated at the Youth Centre on Walker St, Gin Gin from 9.30am.
Mrs Beth Law, International officer of the QCWA said it will be a fantastic day and I encourage anyone and everyone to attend.
“We will have plenty of entertainment, food and prizes to win,” Mrs Law said.
The QCWA raises much needed funds to support the Gin Gin community and they ask the community to join in with the celebration.
“On arrival you will be treated to a beautiful morning tea followed by a medieval three course feast,” she said.
It has taken the QCWA weeks of planning and organising to stage the event and would like to thank the community for the support.
“I want to thank the Gin Gin Medieval Group for kindly agreeing to prepare the three course medieval lunch,” she said.
The event will host a special performance from the Gin Gin Theatrical Group and everyone is encouraged to dress up in a medieval theme.
“I want to thank the Gin Gin Theatre Group for all its hard work preparing for our event and I am very grateful for the support,” she said.
