Train­ing for the state ti­tles in Beaudesert

CHILDERS Ri­fle and Pis­tol Club has hit the mark with its team.

Julie Dunks and Hansi Hum­mer in the past two months have at­tended opens in Beaudesert, Emer­ald, Rock­hamp­ton and Gladstone.

Hum­mer has taken top ju­nior in all the opens he has at­tended, also the top shooter in the stan­dard match, ac­ing the se­nior shoot­ers at the com­pe­ti­tions.

He has also taken out the ag­gre­gate ju­nior in all com­pe­ti­tions.

Julie Dunks has won all the women’s matches and has taken out the ag­gre­gate for the com­pe­ti­tions she has shot in. Hansi and Julie are now pre­par­ing for the state ti­tles to be held at Beaudesert on the first week­end in Oc­to­ber.

There have also been a num­ber of shoot­ers from the club who have com­peted at opens and have come away with medals for their grade – Jo­hann Hum­mer, Anne Thompson, Ken See, Kim We­ston, David Clat­wor­thy and Larry Dunks.
