Isis Town and Country - - Life -

Wedneday, Seven, 9.30pm

David Duchovny (right) is blessed with a screen presence that pulls you in. As the moody and destructive lead in Californication he was an addictive train wreck, and before that he brought a handsome, yet geekish, swagger to the paranormal in The X-Files. Fast-forward to today though, and Aquarius isn’t going to elevate him to higher levels. At best, this is an interesting period/cop drama loosely based on the Manson family that is a little too bogged own in clichés of 1960s America. It all looks good, but ould have been a much smarter affair. In tonight’s double episode, Hodiak (Duchovny) loses control and goes on a bender with violent consequences.
