Council footpaths

Isis Town and Country - - Opinion -

THE council is doing a wonderful job of the new footpaths around the town. However it would seem they have forgotten about the one in front of their works depot. It’s the main footpath for children on the southern side of town to use to walk to school. When it rains the gap in the path fills with water and becomes muddy, forcing children to either walk on the road or down the middle of the depot driveway. Is it just a case of the council not seeing what’s under their noses or do we just have to wait for an accident to address the issue? P. Thomas Childers
