Childers quilters

Isis Town and Country - - News -

At a recently held workshop members were taught how to use a 10 degree ruler to great effect. Ailsa Koloi from Bundaberg was the tutor and was pleased with the results. Members produced circular multi-coloured quilts.

One member made a skirt for round a Christmas tree, another a table runner and the most ambitious was a double circle put together as a quilt for a double bed. Ms Koloi was pleased with the variations of the original design and praised members for thinking outside the square (or was that the circle?).

These workshop days are greatly appreciated by members to learn new techniques and enjoy friendship each Thursday.
