Saying a sad goodbye

Isis Town and Country - - Opinion - Jodie Dixon Reporter jodie.dixon@isistc

IT’S with a heavy heart that I must say goodbye to Janelle de Jong – her last day with Town and Country will be Monday.

She has been the face of Town and Country for a long time and sadly she is leaving.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you Janelle for everything you have done for the newspaper and for me.

You kept the office in order and saved the printer from numerous paper jams caused by me on my first day.

I have only been with the paper for a short time. You welcomed me, helped me find my feet and kept the customers happy.

I wish you all the best with your future endeavours. Feel free to call in any time to use the photocopier, and, fingers crossed I will never need to change the rolls on the laminating machine.

I promise to stay clear of the electric stapler and I will never feed an envelope into the photocopier.

It was a pleasure to work with you and I wish you all the best. Janelle, you will be missed by many people, including me.

If you have any leads, you have my number.

Thanks again Janelle from Town and Country and all its readers.
