It’s time to rock back the clock in ’60s style

CALL­ING all those who love rock’n’roll mu­sic, hot rods, danc­ing and retro mem­o­ra­bilia.

On Satur­day, Childers will be trans­ported back to the 1960s as Childers Rocks Back the Clock.

The Isis Club on Churchill St will host a hot rod, clas­sic car and bike dis­play, along with lo­cal rock­a­billy band Slap Beat and bare­foot bowls all start­ing at 10am and con­tin­u­ing through­out the day un­til 3pm.

Fam­i­lies are en­cour­aged to come along and have a great time, all for a gold coin do­na­tion which goes to Camp Qual­ity.

The lo­cal team rais­ing money for Camp Qual­ity will be at the club with the cars and there will be raf­fles to help reach the fundrais­ing tar­get.
