Fun-filled trivia night

Booyal’s born and bred brainy blue-eyed beau­ti­ful bad­dies

THE brains of Booyal sprang into ac­tion dur­ing a fun-filled trivia, puz­zle and games night at the lo­cal hall on Septem­ber 26.

En­thu­si­as­tic teams decked out in ‘B’ themed cos­tumes filled the hall to ca­pac­ity.

The Bad­dies, Bur­glars, Bikies, Booyal Born and Bred, Brainy Bunch and Booyal’s Beau­ti­ful Blue Babes were among the com­peti­tors.

They not only tested their gen­eral knowl­edge but also tried to se­cure ex­tra points by com­pet­ing in a se­ries of hi­lar­i­ous games.

Lo­cal res­i­dent and ex­pe­ri­enced trivia night or­gan­iser Jenny Suter hosted the evening along­side the Booyal Me­mo­rial Hall com­mit­tee.

The im­pres­sive con­tin­u­ous raf­fle had many prizes gen­er­ously do­nated by lo­cal busi­nesses in Childers, Gin Gin and Bund­aberg.

The evening at­tracted mem­bers of the Gin Gin Gyp­sies RV Mo­tor Home Club, who set up camp on the grounds and en­joyed Booyal’s hos­pi­tal­ity.

Over­all cham­pi­ons of the trivia com­pe­ti­tion were the Bad­dies, with Booyal's Beau­ti­ful Blue Babes be­ing awarded the prize for the best B-themed team.

The pro­ceeds from the evening will help pay for the in­ter­nal lin­ing of the hall.

The next event at the Booyal Me­mo­rial Hall will be Car­ols by Can­dle­light on Sun­day, De­cem­ber 6.
