THE Gin Gin Central Motel on Mulgrave St fell victim to a break and enter in the early hours on Sunday.

Police were called to the scene last Sunday morning to take a statement from the owner.

Police spokesman Senior Constable Brendan Smith, from Bundaberg, said that a male, aged in his 20s to 30s, was captured on CCTV.

“Approximately 3.15am a male, medium build, dressed in jeans and a jacket, was sighted breaking into the front window,” he said.

It was reported that cash and other items were stolen by the offender.

Police were provided with a list of items stolen from the scene.

Police said that an investigation was ongoing.

Police urged the community to come forward if they witnessed anything between the hours of 12.30am and 4am on Sunday, November 1.

“With many Halloween parties in Gin Gin on Saturday night, the general public may have seen something out of the norm,” Sen Const Smith said.
