Isis centre records broken
LITTLE A’s report for club night November 6:
Young Mckenzie Hamann, Piper Bartlett, Jessica Holthouse, Nicholas Haggett, Charlie Green were among the Tiny Tots who were in attendance to see the second centre record fall for the 2015-16 season.
U8 Tessie Dyer shaved 0.1secs off the 9.0sec 2006/07 sprint record jointly shared by current assistant coach Simone Manski and Rhia Blair.
Tessie crossed the 50m finish line in 8.9secs.
The first centre record broken for the season was during October club night when newcomer Kaylee Garrigon (U13) threw her discus 24.62m, breaking the long-standing record by 3.16m.
The previous record of 21.46m was held by Jodie Farrawell since the 2000-01 season.
The club committee continues to work through the new online recording system.
Once all the teething problems have been resolved, we will be able to enter all outstanding results since Week 1 and accurately post personal bests achieved by athletes.
We wish all the nominated athletes for the Eidsvold Pentathlon on Saturday speed, height and distance in their nominated events.
LITTLE A's: Sporting superstars of the future.
