The biggest thanks from Booyal

Isis Town and Country - - News - By BOOYAL CENTRAL STATE SCHOOL

THE Booyal Central State School P and C Association held a major fundraiser on October 31 at the Booyal Memorial Hall.

The event, simply called Booyal’s Biggest Party, has been held for three years and has been a huge success every year.

The night consisted of continuous raffles, lucky door prizes, bar, delicious barbecue dinner and live band The Dirty Creek Boys, who put on a spectacular performance.

Funds raised have been used to purchase books and school equipment for the students.

The money will support the heavily subsidised school excursions and provide funds for the school’s centenary celebrations next year.

The P and C would like to thank all the sponsors for their kind donations during the year.

A particularly special mention goes to Trevor Harris for the generous donation to cover the cost of the band.

The P and C appreciates this type of generous support and the support of the school families and community members who came along to support the children at our school through this fundraising event.

Finally, thank you to all the volunteers who worked tirelessly for the event.

The night major raffle winner went to: The Bendell family. Congratulations.
