CWA needs support

Isis Town and Country - - Opinion - Jodie Dixon Reporter jodie.dixon@isistcnews.com.au

WITH the end of the year drawing even closer Town and Country has one more week of production before the printer shuts down for a well earned rest.

Next week will be our Christmas edition we will have some great photos of decorated homes around the region. Some homes are looking fantastic.

I will be on the streets looking for the best dressed house in Childers. Let us know at Town and Country if your house is decorated.

On another note, it’s sad but true; the Childers CWA ladies are in crisis talks, after serving Queenslanders for 100-years we could see their doors close for the last time.

The group is truly struggling for members, there are four active members and are in desperate need of young ladies and support.

The CWA has been an institution and needs community support. Now is the perfect time to sign up. It’s a great place for young mothers to support each other and to socialise.

For more information in becoming a member contact Rose Shuttlewood on 4126 3092.

Let us know at Town and Country your thoughts.

Have a Merry Christmas Childers.
