Winding down for the year

Isis Town and Country - - Sport - Jodie Dixon Reporter jodie.dixon@isistcnews.com.au

WITH only a week until Christmas I hope everyone is organised for the festive season.

I want to thank the entire community for the support you have shown me during the past five months.

Thank you to all the sporting clubs for contributing your results every week, I look forward to working with you all again next year.

A special thanks to all the community groups and schools that invited me to special events and I hope to do it again next year.

This is the last paper for 2015 and we will return in 2016. The first issue will be out on Thursday, January 7.

Finally, I was heartbroken to hear the QCWA could be forced to shut its doors forever.

It’s a shame it has come to this and I hope something can be done. This iconic institution has to be saved.

Town and Country will return in the new year with a fresh look and more online interaction.
