NewsMail Website now fixed
A TECHNICAL problem has meant some readers trying to access the NewsMail via mobile phone have had difficulty reading stories.
The problem applied only to a small percentage of mobile phone users.
Those reading off desktop or tablet devices were not affected.
And paying subscribers were not affected, on any device.
The issue meant some readers, those wanting to access the 10 free stories a month we offer non-subscribers, didn’t have their quota reset after 30 days. The problem has now been fixed.
Those whose free article access was blocked more than 30 days ago should have access now, while users who accessed our site for the first time only in the past 30 days, and who have passed their 10-story quota, will only have to wait out 30 days to get new access.
