SO YOU have a motorbike but have never ridden it on a proper race track before?

Hervey Bay Motocross Club is holding its annual come and try day on Sunday from 7.30 to noon.

All riders are able to attend as long as they have never held a Motorcycling Queensland licence. Those who attend and want to join the club are then able to get a half-price licence through MQ.

This is a fun day for the whole family. A canteen will be open so no need to pack brekky or lunch.

From noon to about 4pm new riders can then join in the club’s regular practice afternoon. Fees will apply for the practice session.

The club’s first race meet for the year is on February 14.

The Hervey Bay track is along Dundowran Rd off the Maryborough-Hervey Bay Rd.
