“Roderick Jensen is the captain of team white. Both teams are lower than last season,” Mr Dowling said.

“We have both lost some quality players this season and we have struggled to field two teams each week.

“Childers have struggled this season and we are down on the team consistency.”

Roderick Jensen is the leading run scorer for team white with a score of 113 this season.

A solid contributor for the white team is batsman Graeme Bartlett, who has impressed coaches this year.

Team Green has struggled for runs during the season with Chris Fisher and Lennon Childs being the major contributors.

“Leading the wickets table is Jensen, he was last year’s Isis Outlaws club player of the year,” he said.

Childers green team top bowlers are Charlie Thompson and Nic Lindsay, both being an assist to the team.

“Our two juniors, Lleyton Ritchie and Billy Freeman, are also improving now they are playing with the seniors, and under-16s player Ana Hunter has filled in admirably when required,” Dowling said.

“We currently run two under-10 teams on a Thursday night and one under-12 team on a Saturday morning.”

The club is hoping these players will progress through the under-14 and 16 ranks so Isis can field sides.

Jackson Rehbein and Bryden Blair have both made the under-12 representative side this year.

“A special mention to Reece Blake, our only girl in the under-10s,” Dowling said.
