I am Australian

Isis Town and Country - - News - By LORETTA TARDA

IWAKE up today and I am excited to say, I am Australian. A country for me, That is so free, What a wonderful place to be.

Busting with joy and pride, I shout it to the world outside, I am Australian. The Southern Cross above our sky, Is on our flag, we raise so high.

Well known for its surf, sun and sand, It is a privilege to belong to this land. With oceans that surround our shore, There is so much beauty to explore.

This is for all who are Australian. For those who have been lucky by birth, It is the greatest inheritance on earth. How different it is from state to state, But we regard each other mate to mate.

On our National Day, we must celebrate, Everything good and that makes us great. With the hopes and plans for the future ahead, Maybe it’s interesting, what I have just said.

Yes, I am Australian.
