Real threats

Isis Town and Country - - Opinion -

WITH an election imminent, and innovation being a key word, wouldn’t it be good if a major political party recognised the real threats to our people are bushfires, floods and cyclones, etc, rather than the “phantom” terrorists? Without any additional cost to the public purse, the personnel in our armed forces could be returned home from the mindless, endless wars and re-trained as a competent defence unit against these climate induced threats, saving lives and property.
