Missing out

Isis Town and Country - - Opinion -

AUSTRALIA is missing out on billions of dollars in lost revenue annually because multinationals are allowed to legally send their huge profits to overseas tax havens. It certainly seems that our government is not capable of tightening up these tax haven loopholes and as a result they suggest that Australian taxpayers should make up for the lost revenue by increasing the GST to 15%. The only safe and effective way of overhauling the taxation system without corrupt interference from big business lobbyists is to have an independent Royal Commission which would investigate and act without outside influence and provide a fair taxation system for all.
