SOCIAL

Ladies Day, Sunday, February 21, saw 18 players present for a stroke and putt on the back nine. Gentlemen were given the opportunity to grow hair and wear a skirt so as to play off the Ladies tees. This was taken up by a few brave men. To make it fair to everyone the handicapping was a little different this week as there was a suspicious looking woman in the winner’s circle. The winner with a score of 32 was Ed Connell, losing 1.5 from his handicap. Second place went to Bob Cochrane with 33 losing .1 with 3rd place going to Donna (Dominic) Mete with 34, losing .5 from her/his handicap. Donna (Dominic) also took out the combined longest drive. The centre fairway shot went to Rose Cochrane. B-grade approach on the 10th went to Rob Blows.
