Trip of a lifetime to China

Isis Town and Country - - News -

WITH all her flights booked, accommodation sorted and tours organised, Eve Voysey is ready for an adventure of a lifetime.

The seasoned traveller has experienced all that is good and bad when travelling to an unfamiliar place and overseas.

Her last trip overseas was to Cyprus in 2003, her holiday turned into a nightmare when one airline managed to lose her luggage.

Ms Voysey said she swore that she would never travel again after her experience back in 2003.

Thirteen years have past and the bad experience has been forgotten, and new memories are ready to be made.

“I am really looking forward to seeing the Great Wall of China and the Terracotta Warriors,” she said.

Ms Voysey admits she is a little nervous to travel on her own, but she has comfort knowing she will be part of a tour group.

“My tour organiser Wendy Wu has been very helpful in planning my trip,” she said.

Ms Voysey has a packed calendar; her trip starts on the March 10 when she takes off from Brisbane to Singapore.

“I will have four days in Singapore, 14 days in Cambodia, 10 days in China and then to Perth for a granddaughter's wedding and back home on April 19,” she said.

“I am excited,” she said.
