MP Connect mobile office on the road

Isis Town and Country - - Life -

MEMBER for Burnett Stephen Bennett will hit the road next week, steering his mobile office to residents in the Isis District.

Mr Bennett said his MP Connect visits were open to anyone in the region who wanted to discuss their concerns or simply take the opportunity to meet their local member.

“I enjoy getting out from behind my desk and out into the communities, particularly those regional and remote areas where it can be difficult for people to visit me at my office in Bargara,” Mr Bennett said.

“It’s a great opportunity for people to meet me in a relaxed, informal setting,” he said.

“Often I can address a matter right then and there during the MP Connect visit, or at least set the wheels in motion.

“As the local member it’s important that I’m accessible to the people of Burnett, whether you are two minutes down the road, or two hours away.”

Mr Bennett will visit Woodgate on Monday, March 7, at Serenity Cove Café between 10–11am, followed by the Laneway Espresso in Childers from 11.30am.

Appointments can be made via the Burnett Electorate office on 4111 5100.
