Artist Tam Ste­wart on show in Childers Gallery

EV­ERY­ONE from around the re­gion is in­vited to view lo­cal artist Tam Ste­wart’s art­work Of Flower and Feather, on dis­play un­til March 12, on CHARTS Re­gional Can­vas Wall.

Her in­spi­ra­tion stems from watch­ing her grand­fa­ther tend to his col­lec­tion of or­chids and, as ev­ery flower lover knows, flow­ers have a lan­guage of their own.

Lo­cal artists are en­cour­aged to ap­ply to have their art­work dis­played on the Re­gional Can­vas Wall.

She will mag­i­cally trans­form a reg­u­lar dog photo into a vi­brant, re­al­is­tic pas­tel por­trait.

Her abil­ity to cap­ture the essence of an­i­mals and hu­mans will be on show.

Well known for her blog, Meet Me at Mike’s, Ms Lin­colne, based in Mel­bourne, has been able to make time to travel to Bund­aberg to launch The CRAFT Crowd.

The CRAFT Crowd work­shops, which will run monthly in Bund­aberg dur­ing 2016, are specif­i­cally de­signed for begin­ner crafters.

This is an op­por­tu­nity to meet Pip and be in­spired to get more craft into your life.

GIN Gin Court­house Gallery is show­cas­ing lo­cal artists Joanne Wright and Sue Robin­son’s art­work in a com­bined ex­hi­bi­tion, Colour­ful Di­ver­sion and Wear­able Art.
