Stirring a lot of interest

Isis Town and Country - - Opinion - Jodie Dixon jodie.dixon@isistc

LAST weekend was a very long couple of days for me as I didn’t get home till 3.30am Sunday after spending time with the Down Under Spirit Team.

I had the pleasure of watching the team at work with all their devices.

I can’t wait to read the final report, which should be available in the next few weeks.

The eight CCTV cameras covered the entire Paragon Theatre and special thanks to the Craft family for allowing the team into their business/home.

The team was asked at the last moment to investigate a private residence around the corner from the police station and, finally, the team was excited to get into the dentist.

The team didn’t stir up any bad spirits.

Thank you to Brett Philips for allowing the team into your business, I tried to text message but the phone went flat.

You will be all too happy to know the team didn’t stir up any bad spirits.

Sunday was just as busy, my day started with a flat tyre in the rain, which made me late for the kick-off at the Isis RSL for the World’s Greatest Shave.

It will be a few more days before we have a final total on the money raised and well done to the team at the Grand Hotel for holding the same event last Friday.

Let us know how much you raised and send in any photos of your event. Finally this weekend we go to the polls, remember to make your vote count.

We have many great contenders but only one can win in each division.

I want to wish all the candidates in Division 2, Julie, Paul, Jim, Stan and Bill all the very best for this weekend. Have a great week Childers.
