All jokes aside, it’s a relief
THE tiny school of Booyal spent the past 12 months secretly recording their debut DVD loaded with hilarious jokes.
The junior jokers will have you in stiches. Students from across Queensland sent Booyal their video jokes and the design team produced a sensational comedy.
The Booyal Central State School’s young entrepreneurs are donating profits to support drought relief.
Without dropping too many names and spoiling the 55-minute video, Troy Cassar-Daly and Ita Buttrose tell you their funniest jokes.
The video has country artists, poets, comedians, TV personalities and many well know celebrities.
Booyal Central State School principal Dawn Dolinski said the students have worked hard producing the DVD.
“The money raised from the sale of Kidding About for Drought will help grazing families in Central Western Queensland,” Mrs Dolinski said.
“The students are proud of the DVD and glad to have it available for everyone to see.
“We received great support in putting the jokes together, and all the jokes are suitable for all ages.”
Local member for Burnett Stephan Bennett took time to visit the school’s 23 students and congratulate them on the wonderful fundraiser.
Mr Bennett said the students had come up with a fabulous idea to support struggling farmers throughout Queensland and they all should be very proud.
The DVD is on sale now, for further information phone the Booyal Central State School for a copy.
