Colleen Marie Pet­titt:

Ap­peared in court charged with driv­ing off af­ter hit­ting a parked car. An early guilty plea re­sulted in a fine of $900 and four-month dis­qual­i­fi­ca­tion from driv­ing.

Ka­t­rina Leigh Geisel:

Charged with shoplift­ing from the Childers IGA store. Fined $500 af­ter an early guilty plea.

Kevin Wayne Meikle John:

Was caught drink-driv­ing early this year and blew a read­ing of 0.063. With his his­tory of drink-driv­ing dat­ing back to the ’70s, Meikle John was suc­cess­ful with his ap­pli­ca­tion for a re­stricted driver’s li­cence. He must not drive with pas­sen­gers and is re­stricted to drive only be­tween 8am-5pm and for work pur­poses only. He was also fined a to­tal of $350.

Glenda Ber­nice Nock:

Ap­peared in the Childers court for one charge of drink-driv­ing, a road­side breath test re­vealed a read­ing of 0.089.

An early guilty plea re­sulted in a fine of $450 and four-month li­cence dis­qual­i­fi­ca­tion.

Jessie James Holzberger:

Was caught drink-driv­ing and blew a read­ing of 0.160, with an early plea of guilty he was lucky to es­cape jail time.

Fined a to­tal of more than $1600 and re­ceived a sus­pended sen­tence.

Andrew Ti­mothy Roper:

Ap­peared in front of the mag­is­trate charged with en­ter­ing a dwelling and com­mit­ting an in­dictable of­fence and the un­law­ful use of a mo­tor ve­hi­cle.

It was his first of­fence and ap­pear­ance in court and he made a guilty plea.

The mag­is­trate said the court took a zero-tol­er­ance at­ti­tude to break-ins and sen­tenced him to 12 months im­pris­on­ment, to be sus­pended af­ter four months.
