THE Harmony Day celebrations continue for Gin Gin as the Multicultural Group will host a food feast this Saturday evening.

It’s an open invitation to the entire community to celebrate Harmony Day by coming together around food.

On Saturday, organisers will be serving up a feast for all to experience and to be part of a local event.

Josie Jensen from the Gin Gin Multicultural group said it was a great chance to get to know your neighbours.

“It’s about bringing the community together with food,” she said.

“We all love food, it makes us feel happy and food brings people together.”

The region is diverse with a variety of cultures and nationalities and the community group enjoys bringing the community together.

“Bring a dish, it doesn’t matter what you can cook, our region has plenty of great produce and we encourage others to join in,” Ms Jensen said.

Follow your nose on Saturday night to the RSL Hall on Milden St and enjoy the flavours of the region.
