Kids enjoy holiday fun with robots

Isis Town and Country - - News -

THERE was plenty of holiday excitement at the Childers Library as it hosted activities designed to educate and entertain school-aged children.

Library staff organised hands-on fun with iPad-driven robots, and the children all took turns programming and driving the robots along tracks specially designed by the children.

Organiser Rhy Baker said the robots were easy to control and great fun for all ages.

“We have had great response from the kids, and they all had fun racing each other,” Mrs Baker said.

The robots will be a hot item on all wish lists this Christmas.

Excited kids took turns in operating the tiny robots across the floor of the library.

Curious visitors to the library were interested, as the new generation of robots is a thrill for all.
