Get ready for the ride of your life
WANT to live life in the fast lane this weekend?
The Hervey Bay Motocross Club is holding its second club day for the year and everyone is invited.
“We encourage new riders to contact us via our Facebook page and to find out how they go about becoming members and riding at our club,” a club spokeswoman said.
Racing will start at 9am on Sunday.
Full canteen facilities will be available, including breakfast.
Entry for spectators is free.
The club has had a busy year after hosting a round of the Sunshine State Series in March and a round of the Go Girls Racing Australia only two weeks ago.
“We’ve been very busy; but it’s been good as we have had a lot of different riders come and enjoy our track,” she said.
“Our next big event is the second round of the Queensland titles which are being held on September 3 and 4, so this will give us a bit of time to make further improvements to our facilities.”
The club will hold a working bee on Saturday from noon to prepare the track and grounds for Sunday’s meet, so pop along and lend a hand.
All riders need to bring a volunteer on Sunday to help flag for an hour.
