Gin Gin Show has ac­tion-packed fun

GIN Gin’s 107th An­nual Show will be held on May 28 and 29 at the Gin Gin Show­grounds, and gates open at 7.30am with the ring events. En­try is via the Dear St gates.

There will be laser skir­mish, Viv’s Farm­yard with lovely farm­yard an­i­mals to pat and feed, Blue Gum Farm fun for the kids, First Light En­ter­tain­ment stilt walk­ers, horses, dogs, cat­tle and the Farm­ers’ Chal­lenge.

Get a team of four peo­ple to­gether if you think you’ve got what it takes for fun and fast-paced farm­ing chal­lenges sure to bring out your com­pet­i­tive side. Nom­i­na­tions close on May 21.

There will be fire­works and live en­ter­tain­ment by ‘Cross­roads’ on Satur­day night, plus on Sun­day don’t miss the wood chop­ping, poul­try and the State Ute Muster competition. If you own a ute then this is the competition for you.

The pavil­ion will be packed items in­clud­ing home man­u­fac­tur­ing, pre­serves, fancy work, scrap­book­ing, pho­tog­ra­phy, craft, fine arts, plants and flow­ers, flo­ral art, quilts, school/kindy and CWA dis­plays.

Ad­mis­sion is $12 adults, $6 pen­sion­ers and high school, $1 pri­mary. Fam­ily ticket (2 adults & their school age chil­dren) $30 for the two days.
