More thrills and family fun with old favourites, new events
A WEEK after Childers Show, Gin Gin is set to celebrate it’s 107 Annual Show
This year, the event will be held on May 28-29 at the Gin Gin Showgrounds starting at 7.30am with the ring events.
Event organisers are excited this year will have more thrills.
Gin Gin Show media officer Wendi Guy said there will be Laser Skirmish.
“On display and for the entire family Viv’s Farmyard animals, Blue Gum Farm fun for the kids and First Light Entertainment stilt walkers,” Mrs Guy said.
“Horses, dogs, cattle and the ‘Farmers Challenge’
Locals are encouraged to get a team of four people, and take up the challenge, if you think you’ve got what it takes.
“It will be something to remember for a longtime, fun and fast paced farming challenges sure to bring out your competitive side,” Mrs Guy said.

Stick around as the sun goes down, fireworks are set to light up the night sky and live entertainment by Crossroads on Saturday night plus on Sunday don’t miss the wood chopping, poultry and the State Ute Muster competition.
If you own a ute then this is the competition for you.
The pavilion will be packed with lots to see items including home manufacturing, preserves, fancy work, scrapbooking, photography, craft, fine arts, plants and flowers, floral art, quilts, school/kindy and CWA displays and lots more.
They will also host the finals for the Junior Handlers and judges for the Burnett Regionals. This will be judged on the Sunday.
