THE ri­fle club is of­fer­ing an in­vi­ta­tion to its free open day on May 28. You must be aged older than 11 years to take part.

RFS WEEK

RU­RAL Fire Ser­vice Week will be held next month from June 5–11 and this year the ser­vice is look­ing for your sup­port. It is look­ing for new vol­un­teers, so if you are in­ter­ested in join­ing, visit www.ru­ral­fire.qld.gov.au.

CHILDERS CAM­PAIGN

A FREE com­mu­nity bar­be­cue will be held in Mil­len­nium Park on May 13, de­signed to chal­lenge and ed­u­cate the com­mu­nity about fam­ily and do­mes­tic vi­o­lence. It will also pro­vide in­for­ma­tion on where to get help.

CHILDERS SHOW

OR­GAN­IS­ERS are look­ing for more stall­hold­ers, groups and char­i­ties to be a part of this year’s cel­e­bra­tion. This year the show cel­e­brates a cen­tury and needs sup­port from the com­mu­nity to grow in the fu­ture.

A PILOTLIGHT Pro­duc­tions ar­ti­cle last week had an er­ror. Writer Er­roll O’Neil wrote the play Red Soil, White Sugar and fin­ished it in 2011, not 1911 as in the ar­ti­cle. Sorry for any in­con­ve­nience this may have caused.
