Sunday, 15 May hosted 16 players to a perfect day for nine holes of Stableford golf. The winner for the day had only recently returned after six months overseas. Stuart Aitchison came in first with a score of 24 losing 4.5 from his handicap. He won’t be doing that again for a while. Second position on a count back and coming in with 20 was Bill Kirchhoff. He will lose a generous 1.8 from his handicap with 3rd position going to Peter Mac also on 20 losing 1.1. B-Grade approach on the 10th went to Stuart Aitchison who also won the Centre Fairway shot. The approach on the 15th went to Chris Fitzsimons who also won the combined longest Drive. Al Ball also stated he wanted to put the markers out for the longest drive next week. On the May 29 we will be playing one of our away games at the Bundaberg Golf course and it would be appreciated if people wishing to go could let us know next week. The game next week at Oakwood against the Lighthouse has been postponed which means we will be playing at Isis. It will be a Stroke and Putt over the front nine holes. Don’t forget breakfast at 7.30am and 8 am tee off. Visitors and new members welcome.
