Sun­day, 15 May hosted 16 play­ers to a per­fect day for nine holes of Sta­ble­ford golf. The win­ner for the day had only re­cently re­turned af­ter six months over­seas. Stu­art Aitchi­son came in first with a score of 24 los­ing 4.5 from his hand­i­cap. He won’t be do­ing that again for a while. Sec­ond po­si­tion on a count back and com­ing in with 20 was Bill Kirch­hoff. He will lose a gen­er­ous 1.8 from his hand­i­cap with 3rd po­si­tion go­ing to Peter Mac also on 20 los­ing 1.1. B-Grade ap­proach on the 10th went to Stu­art Aitchi­son who also won the Cen­tre Fair­way shot. The ap­proach on the 15th went to Chris Fitzsi­mons who also won the com­bined long­est Drive. Al Ball also stated he wanted to put the mark­ers out for the long­est drive next week. On the May 29 we will be play­ing one of our away games at the Bund­aberg Golf course and it would be ap­pre­ci­ated if peo­ple wish­ing to go could let us know next week. The game next week at Oak­wood against the Light­house has been post­poned which means we will be play­ing at Isis. It will be a Stroke and Putt over the front nine holes. Don’t for­get break­fast at 7.30am and 8 am tee off. Visi­tors and new mem­bers welcome.
