Plenty of good reading

Isis Town and Country - - Opinion - Jodie Dixon Reporter jodie.dixon@isistc

IT WAS another busy week for me as the final regional show in Gin Gin took place last weekend.

Congratulations to all the show winners. It was a huge two days for organisers and they want to thank the community for their support.

The Biggest Morning Tea was celebrated this week and the ladies of the Childers CWA should be proud of their efforts raising almost $200, a great effort.

To the women at Woodgate Bowls Club, well done on a fantastic morning. A special thanks to Jess for dropping off my bag – I truly appreciate it.

I met some wonderful people at the Woodgate Book Fest. The Woodgate ladies dedicate time each month for charity at the book fest.

Residents are encouraged to get out to Woodgate next month where you will find plenty of books to sort through.

Thanks to Heather Marshall for letting me wander through your glorious garden. I will return soon for a cuppa and a lesson in blanket making.

Remember the Chamber of Commerce annual general meeting is next week.

Let us know at Town and Country of your coming events.
