I have been told that if I want to connect more with spirit and energy I need to quiet my mind.
When I try to meditate or sit still all these thoughts just keep running around. Is there anything you can suggest to help?
This is very common with most individuals as our lives are so busy these days. I found that doing the following exercise just before bed time is really good.
As you close your eyes, picture a blackboard in front of you and a piece of chalk in one hand with an eraser in the other.
You start with writing 1 then erase it, 2 then erase it, 3 then erase it, etc. You continue until a thought pops into your head. When this happens you start back at one.
Most people only get to 5 before life interferes, but by doing this for five minutes a day you will notice that you get further each time.
What you are doing is training your mind to stop running in circles and allows you to focus more. Selenite.
