Isis Town and Country - - Opinion - Jodie Dixon Reporter

I HAVE exciting news to share with all our Town and Country readers: welcome to our new readers from Wallaville.

The general store in Wallaville now has Town and Country on its shelves. I encourage our new readers to let us know about their coming events.

I will do my best to attend as many events as I possible can without running myself into the ground.

Isis Town and Country encourages the community to be active in their paper by contributing photos, articles and reminders for coming events.

In the coming weeks you will notice changes to the paper, and the services you can access online.

The digital subscriptions for Town and Country are on the rise with many more of you choosing to go online to read the weekly paper.

I want to thank the community for supporting the Isis Town and Country: our weekly contributors are all doing a fantastic job.

If you would like to contribute to your community paper feel free to call into our office or drop me an email.

I would like to hear from you this week about what you obsessed over as a kid or even as an adult. Let us know your secret obsession.

Also, if you are a collector, I want to hear from you.

Personally I have a strange addiction to stationary: pens mostly and I get upset if any person dares to write with them.

On Friday, be sure to be in Childers for the launch of the Childers Festival from 9am in Millennium Park with plenty of excitement planned.

Have a great week Childers and stay safe.

Let us know at Town and Country your secret obsession.
