Government gymnastics

Isis Town and Country - - Opinion -

WHY are voters complaining about the length of the election campaign? Twenty-four hours a day we can watch and possibly be entertained by the broadly smiling stars of the two major parties with minor supporting actors dancing their way across our fair land, always cheerful and ever ready to press hands in friendship. And after the campaign is over the show will continue on with acrobatics as the chosen leader and his faithful troop perform backflips right before his amazed and puzzled audience of recent voters. Will the final act be a comedy or a tragedy? Only time will tell. Unfortunately, we will elect the government we deserve.
