ACCLAIMED international artist and Gin Gin resident, Gary Woodfield had his art gallery opening last Saturday at the Gin Gin Courthouse Gallery.

He worked tirelessly for the past six weeks finishing projects in time for the opening.

The self-taught artist has his own unique technique to create his wonderful art work. Guests were surprised of his unique use of sticks, twigs, dirt and Mr Woodfield has never used a paint brush on any of his masterpieces.

Working for his home studio and inspired by nature, he dedicates hours into research and sanding back the canvas to ensure perfection.

With an eye for detail, Mr Woodfield has gained international interest from other artists and galleries. Later this year he will be working hard to enter coveted Warburg competition in Europe.

Mr Woodfield said his passion is for nature and he believes there is an artist inside of everyone.

“I also hold art classes for any person interested in learning,”

The community is encouraged to wonder around the Gin Gin Gallery.
