Free registration for de-sexing
BUNDABERG Regional Council is joining local vets to offer discounts as part of RSPCA Queensland’s Operation Wanted campaign.
Cr Peter Heuser said between June and August 31 council would offer free registration for any dogs de-sexed at participating vets during the campaign.
“Seven local vets are offering a 20 per cent discount on de-sexing as part of the Operation Wanted campaign,” Cr Heuser said. “After taking advantage of this discount, pet owners have the added benefit of receiving free dog registration for the 2016/2017 registration period. Having a de-sexed dogs also means you will receive discounted registration each year thereafter with annual registration fees for a de-sexed and micro-chipped dog being significantly lower than standard registration fees.”
