Forest View CEO Jenny Nixon says goodbye
Friends say goodbye to friend and CEO Jenny Nixon
FOR residents and staff at Forest View it is a sad time as their beloved CEO Jenny Nixon said her final goodbyes and stepped away from her position at the aged care facility.
Mrs Nixon’s nursing career at the facility started back in August 1993 as a care supervisor and within 12 months she was promoted to the position of general manager.
The facility has grown and she has seen and made many changes over the years.
Forest View present Robyn Philpot said the entire board would like to commend Mrs Nixon for all her hard work and the tireless dedication she had shown to all the residents.
“Mrs Nixon has been with Forest View since the early ’90s and we thank her for securing funding and for all the improvements and enhancements to the facility and its residents,” Mrs Philpot said.
“We can’t thank her enough for the accreditation she attained for the various facilities and the provision of external services for residents of the facility.
“Most important is the tone and culture of the facility. All visitors to Forest View compliment the facility on the family and home-style atmosphere where residents are treated with dignity and respect.”
Forest View has grown and developed over the years due to the efforts of Mrs Nixon.
“The board wishes to thank Jenny for her dedication and service to Aged Care in the Isis District,” Mrs Philpot said.
“She can be justifiably proud of what she has achieved and we wish her all the best in her new chapter.”
