THE Booyal Memorial Hall Youth Committee has been busy organising its first exciting event to raise much needed funds for the upkeep of the community hall.

The family fun day is set for September 3 from 11am at the Booyal Memorial Hall on Causeway Rd.

The youth committee has come up with some interesting and challenging games.

The games will challenge teamwork and communication skills and it will certainly be a fun-filled, interactive day.

A delicious lunch will be available, consisting of a sausage sizzle and steakettes.

With fabulous prizes to be won on the day, organisers promise to keep the kids entertained.

The junior committee was formed early this year as a way to encourage the youth to be more involved and active members of the community.

FUTURE LEADERS: Booyal Junior Committee with Peter Peterson and Booyal Memorial Hall Committee secretary Heather McMahon.
