Free fi­nan­cial grants work­shop for groups

LO­CAL com­mu­nity groups and or­gan­i­sa­tions in Gin Gin and the sur­rounds can learn more in­for­ma­tion about the coun­cil’s fi­nan­cial as­sis­tance pro­grams and what as­sis­tance and fund­ing is avail­able.

The coun­cil’s com­mu­nity de­vel­op­ment unit will de­liver a free grants work­shop.

The top­ics set for the dis­cus­sion in­clude: Is your or­gan­i­sa­tion el­i­gi­ble for fund­ing? How can your or­gan­i­sa­tion be­come el­i­gi­ble? The dif­fer­ent lev­els of fund­ing and how to ap­ply.

The in­vite is open and com­mu­nity groups are en­cour­aged to at­tend the free event at the Gin Gin Neigh­bour­hood centre, 4 Dear St on Septem­ber 2 from 10am.

The grants work­shop is fa­cil­i­tated by the Bund­aberg Re­gional Coun­cil Com­mu­nity De­vel­op­ment team, Ash­leigh Tye-John­son and Bev Devlin.
