Death on the local roads at Cordalba
The crash closed one lane for a number of hours while forensic crash investigation officers combed the site for clues into what caused the crash.
Bundaberg police District Crime Prevention Co-ordinator Senior Constable Danielle Loftus asked all road users to think about their actions at all times.
“A 48-year-old Walkervale man was pronounced deceased at the scene and a 34-year-old Apple Tree Creek woman was transported to Bundaberg Hospital and is reported to be in a stable condition.
“Given that this fatal traffic crash today (yesterday) has an impact on so many people, again we’re asking all motorists to be aware of their actions and decisions they make when they are out on the road.
“We’re heading into a weekend now and we know that individuals and families are going to be out and about and may want to visit places and people who they wish to see.”
