Mel­bourne Cup Day at the Isis Club

IT WAS high fash­ion on the field for the ladies and gen­tle­men at the Isis Club last Tues­day as staff and man­age­ment hosted a Mel­bourne Cup Day event.

Guests were treated to a de­li­cious meal and a com­pli­men­tary glass of wine on ar­rival.

Dressed to im­press in a pair of high heels and look­ing stun­ning in her navy and white dress, Isis Club man­ager Kerry Smythe said it was a fab­u­lous turn-out with 60 peo­ple in at­ten­dance.

“We host many events dur­ing the year and Mel­bourne Cup Day is pop­u­lar ev­ery year,”

“This year we had a se­cret judge for Fash­ion on the Field and we had many great out­fits.”

“Con­grat­u­la­tions to our best-dressed win­ners, Leann Con­nolly and Clive Ohlson and thank you to all the en­trants in the fash­ion pa­rade,” said Ms Smythe.

The Spring Car­ni­val at­mos­phere saw ladies dressed in the lat­est fash­ion.

The Isis Club hosts many great events and en­ter­tain­ers, guests at the Mel­bourne Cup func­tion had the plea­sure of lis­ten­ing to the fab­u­lous solo en­ter­tainer Ren­nie.

He voice and tunes en­ter­tained the guests be­fore all eyes were fo­cused on the race that stops a na­tion.

Ms Smythe said in the com­ing weeks the Isis Club will play host to the very tal­ented Justin Stan­ley.

“Justin will be per­form­ing at the Isis Club on Novem­ber 19,” she said.
