Market teeters if no volunteers step up

Isis Town and Country - - News -

ANGRY, frustrated and annoyed, Beth Law from the Gin Gin markets is disappointed in the lack of volunteers willing to donate a few hours a week.

Mrs Law said she has been supporting the market for more than four years and needs more help.

“We have a great team of volunteers and they are becoming run down from supporting the market, and we are in desperate need for some younger hands to help out.

“It’s a great social event every Saturday morning but we can’t continue to wear ourselves out,” she said.

“If we can’t get extra hands we will be left with no choice but to cut the markets to once a month.”

Looking worn out and frustrated, Mrs Law is passionate about Gin Gin and personally doesn’t want the market to end.

“We have too many businesses at the market and I don’t want to let anyone down,”
